United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers based in Boston arrested Jimmy Kimera, a national of Uganda, on 27 October during targeted operations in Hudson, Massachusetts.
The agency described Kimera as a criminal illegal alien and framed the arrest as another example in sanctuary Massachusetts of an individual who is seemingly above the law.
According to ICE Boston, Kimera’s criminal history includes a conviction for two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and one count of assault and battery causing serious bodily injury.
Kimera was previously arrested for eight counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and two counts of assault and battery on a disabled person with injury over 60. The Waltham District Court dismissed those charges on 21 December 2022.
He was also arrested for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury. The Middlesex Superior Court dismissed those charges on 15 April 2026.
The arrest formed part of ongoing targeted operations conducted by the ICE Boston field office.
