The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has declared Isaac Chinyere Mbalaso wanted in connection with alleged financial offences.
In a public notice issued on Wednesday, 30 September 2026, and circulated on its official social media platforms, the Commission said Mbalaso is sought over an alleged case of criminal conspiracy, criminal breach of trust and obtaining money under false pretence. The notice was signed by Dele Oyewale, Head of Media and Publicity.
According to the Commission, Mbalaso is 41 years old and an indigene of Aba in Abia State. His last known address was given as 11th Avenue, Prince and Princess Kaura District, Abuja.
The notice stated that the public is hereby notified that Isaac Chinyere Mbalaso is wanted by the Commission. It did not publish further particulars of the alleged offences, the sums said to be involved, or the names of any complainants.
Anyone with useful information about his whereabouts has been asked to contact the Commission at its offices in Ibadan, Uyo, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Benin, Makurdi, Kaduna, Ilorin, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt or Abuja. Information may also be passed through the telephone number 08093322644, the email address [email protected], the nearest police station, or other security agencies.
