Babachir Lawal Resigns from All Progressives Congress

7 July 2025 – Engr. Babachir David Lawal, a prominent figure in Nigerian politics, has officially resigned from the All Progressives Congress (APC). The announcement was made in a letter dated 29 June 2025, addressed to the Chairman of the APC in Bangshika Ward, Hong Local Government Area, Adamawa State.

In his resignation letter, Engr. Lawal expressed his intention to formally notify the party of his departure, stating that the resignation takes immediate effect.
